More Baked Beans
Drain off any excess liquid from beans. With kitchen shears, cut three slices partly cooked bacon (almost cooked but not crisp). In a large bowl, combine beans, bacon pieces and remaining ingrediets mixing well. Spoon into a 2 quart casserole or baking dish or bean pot. Arrange remaing partly cooked bacon slices over beans, bake, uncovered in 275F oven for about 3 ½ to 4 hours or until bean mixture is thick and brown in color. Serve hot or at room temperature. Beans may be wrapped in heavy duty aluminum foil and frozen if desired.
